Based on practical exercises, you will be able to master audit techniques and become competent to manage an audit program, audit team, communication with customers, and conflict resolution.

After acquiring the necessary expertise to perform this audit, you can sit for the exam and apply for a “GITCHIA Certified ISO 26000 Lead Auditor” credential. By holding a GITCHIA Lead Auditor Certificate, you will demonstrate that you have the capabilities and competencies to measure organizations SRP performance based on best practices.

Prerequisites: A fundamental understanding of ISO 26000 and comprehensive knowledge of audit principles (ISO 19011).

How long: 4+1 days (4-day training plus an extra day for the exam)

Examination 

The “GITCHIA Certified ISO 26000 Lead Auditor” exam fully meets the requirements of the IDA Examination and Certification Programme (ECP). The exam covers the following competency domains:

Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of a Social Responsibility Program

Domain 2: Social Responsibility Program (SRP)

Domain 3: Fundamental audit concepts and principles

Domain 4: Preparation of an ISO 26000 audit

Domain 5: Conducting an ISO 26000 audit

Domain 6: Closing an ISO 26000 audit

Domain 7: Managing an ISO 26000 audit program

Provided the candidate is successful in the exam, s/he can apply for the GITCHIA certification.
